
Google is now bringing its Google One subscription plans to Malaysia, which offers more storage and at a lower price, storage sharing and also expert support.
The Google One plan will allow users to upgrade their Google Drive data, replacing the previous Google Drive subscription plans.
Each individual plans are priced at a monthly rates, at RM8.49 for 100GB, RM11.99 for 200GB, RM42.99 for 2TB, RM429.99 for 10TB, RM859.99 for 20TB and RM1,289.99 for 30TB.
Lower storage plans will come with annual subscriptions at RM84.99 for 100GB and RM119.99 for 200GB.
For convenience, users that are already subscribed to Google Drive, the subscription will be auto upgraded to a the Google One subscription.
Users can share their Google One storage with others, a feature previously only available for Google Drive Enterprise customers.
Enterprise users were charged US$8 (RM32.66) per user, the feature is complimentary for Google One users, though limited to five additional users.
Of the many features include access to Google’s Experts for technical support, Google Play credits and also special hotel pricing.
The Google One plan was introduced in the United States nine months ago, before being rolled out worldwide on a country-to-country basis.
Google One vice-president Pavni Diwanji said the move was for mobile phone users with limited physical storage and with large files from formats like 4K video and high-res photography, and simple migration to the cloud.
