The competitors was very fierce for the fourth adaptation of our Hardware Battlefield. 13 shockingly excellent hardware startups competed to win the coveted steel Man trophy.
These firms had an awfully special CES experience as all of them pitched in front of a couple of groups of judges on stage on the Sands Expo. The startups had been competing for $ 50,000 and being named the winner of the Hardware Battlefield.
After many deliberations, our judges narrowed the record down to 4 finalists: wearable device for pregnant moms Bloomlife, smart sensors for building web sites Pillar, weaves electronic sensors into clothing Siren Care and capsule-selecting instrument Stratio.
These startups made their approach to the finale to demo in entrance of our remaining panel of judges, which have been CyPhy Works founder and CTO Helen Greiner, U.S. Patent and Trademark place of job Director Michelle okay. Lee, Intel Capital President Wendell Brooks and TechCrunch Senior Editor Matt Burns.
